FLEET STREET QUARTER CLIMATE FESTIVAL 2024

CREATING A BLUEPRINT FOR A MORE SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

Tuesday 25th June – Wednesday 26th June • Fleet Street Quarter

Fleet Street Quarter is excited to be hosting a Climate Festival on 25th and 26th June, as part of London Climate Action Week 2024. Comprising a series of high-level debates, networking, and cultural events, the Festival’s overarching theme is, creating a blueprint for a more sustainable future.

Across the two days, more than 20 senior leaders in the sustainability, property, finance, media and legal sectors will share their insights on some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing business within the Fleet Street area and beyond. Themes include the impact of 2024’s ‘year of democracy’ on business and planet, harnessing the power of “the 1%” in accelerating climate action, decarbonising London’s building stock and growing London’s green skills.

Lady Lucy French OBE, CEO, Fleet Street Quarter says: “As one of the oldest parts of London, the Fleet Street Quarter has faced many challenges and has successfully evolved to be a thriving hub for business. Now, in the face of our biggest global challenge, climate change, the district and the businesses within it, are entering a new era of adaptation and transition to net zero.

“Through this Climate Festival, we want to create an opportunity for our local businesses to collaborate with other business leaders, Public Sector partners, and sustainability experts to identify best practice and new ideas that support them in their decarbonisation goals.”

We’re also supporting London Climate Action Week as a venue hub, offering a dozen or so venues to participating event organisers  - ranging from sustainable new-builds to cultural spaces and historic buildings.
