2025 sees the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, a conflict that saw over 30 members of the City of London Police lose their lives, both on the Home Front and while serving in the Armed Forces. In this free talk, police historian Rebecca Walker delves into the lives and careers of some of the police officers and staff commemorated on the force’s War Memorial. She explores what their stories reveal about the impact the global conflict had on the City of London and its police force.
