Join the March Farringdon Ward Club networking drinks, upstairs at The Rising Sun, Carter Lane.

This month's guest speaker is Doug Wills, Editor Emeritus of the Evening Standard and The Independent. He was previously Managing Editor of the Evening Standard for 15 years, 10 of those as Group Managing Editor including the Independent. Doug trained in journalism with Thomson Regional Newspapers.

He is a board member and Hon Treasurer of the Society of Editors, and a former President of the Society. He is chair of London Press Club, and a director and Hon Treasurer of the News Media Coalition. He is also Upper Warden of the Stationers & Newspaper Makers livery company based in the Fleet Street Quarter area.
