Fleet Street Quarter is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the City of London Police to launch Operation Reframe this April, an important initiative aimed at enhancing safety and security across the area, especially within the Night-Time Economy (NTE).
A Collaborative Effort for a Safer Night Out
Operation Reframe brings together businesses, law enforcement, and community partners to ensure that venues and public spaces are welcoming and secure for everyone. The initiative focuses on crime prevention, venue safety standards, and visible policing, reinforcing Fleet Street Quarter’s commitment to the wellbeing of all who live, work, and socialise in the City of London.
Key Operation Reframe Activities – Thursday, 24 April
On the evening of Thursday, 24 April, Fleet Street Quarter will work in partnership with local police, licensing officers, and safety organisations to deliver a series of impactful initiatives:
Raising awareness of crime prevention strategies
Licensing compliance checks, including the promotion of schemes like "Ask for Angela" and Spiking Awareness
High-visibility patrols throughout the Quarter
A free phone-marking event at Blackfriars Station, helping reduce mobile theft and improve personal security
A City-Wide Collaboration
This initiative is the result of a strong and united effort by key stakeholders including:
