DASDAS BOX: A NEW ARTS AND CULTURE HUB IN FSQ
A CREATIVE PERFORMANCE SPACE JOINING THE NEW URBAN FARMER PROJECT AT SHOE LANE AT THE HEART OF THE FLEET STREET QUARTER
DasDasBox is a new sustainable arts and culture hub in the Fleet Street Quarter located next to the recently launched Urban Farmer Project. Built with recycled materials, and with a mission of supporting local artists, musicians, actors, and painters, the hub seeks to provide a space to create and showcase their work.
By promoting mental well-being and breaking barriers through the power of art, DasDas Box aims a welcoming platform for community building, impactful discussions, and cultural events that drive positive social change.
Upcoming events include live jazz performances and a quiz and comedy night, as well as film screenings, theatre and music festivals all coming soon.
Das Das Box forms part of the new Urban Farmer Project building, and has been lauched in partnerhship with Mert Firat UN DP Ambassador for Turkey, and the BBC Academy, further enriching the cultural landscape of the Fleet Street Quarter.
Located at the former bar within Landsec’s new Hill House development*, just north of Fleet Street, the Urban Farmer Project will serve as a dynamic marketplace, educational hub and events space dedicated to tackling food poverty and widen access to sustainable farm produce. The Urban Farm Project will also function as a showroom for circular economy practices and advanced food-growing technologies such as hydroponics.
