THE GREAT FLEET STREET QUARTER COOK OFF 2024

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CORD BY LE CORDON BLEU

8TH, 15TH & 22ND MARCH 2024

This March, Fleet Street Quarter in partnership with CORD by Le Cordon Bleu, will be hosting the ultimate cooking competition between representatives from the local business community.

Open for culinary buffs and novices alike, we invite you to join us and represent your business in this City of London first. Participants will be in with a chance of having their businesses’ name etched in Fleet Street history, as well as learning from world class Masterchefs in the exquisite kitchens of CORD’s Culinary Institute at 85 Fleet Street.

Prizes include: a night’s stay at the luxurious Apex Temple Court, two places at CORD‘s April Tattinger Wine Club event, dinner with wine tasting for four at The Amicable Society of Lazy Ballerinas, and a week’s worth of shopping from Sainsbury’s!

Enter the competition to bake, flambé and simmer your business to FSQ Cook Off victory. Good luck!

How does the competition work?

  1. Fill in the short form about why you would like to take part and represent your Business.

  2. Successful applicants will be invited to the semi-final heats held on Friday 8th & 15th March, 2pm – 6pm at CORD. Kindly note these times cannot be changed, so please check your availability in advance of entering.

  3. With guidance from Le Cordon Bleu Masterchefs, entrants will be tasked with replicating a dish before plating-up for the judges.

  4.  If you are successful in the heats, you will be invited to the final on Friday 22nd March, 2pm – 6pm followed by a drinks reception and prize-giving ceremony. The final will be all about seasonal food and judged by an all-star culinary panel – more details on this in due course.

Who can enter?

Entries are welcomed from anyone working for a business located in the Fleet Street Quarter area.

Can more than one person from my business apply?

Yes, absolutely! However, only one representative from each business will be able to take part on behalf of their company.

When will I hear if I am successful in reaching a semi-final heat?

The judging panel will deliver the news by Wednesday 21st February, so keep an eye on your inbox!
