To achieve our key themes we have set out a list of priorities to deliver, shape and influence our ambitions for the Fleet Street Quarter:

  • To invest in more public spaces and greening, creating an area that boasts an attractive and sustainable destination.
  • Take a leadership approach to sustainability best practices
  • Working in close collaboration with the City Corporation, the Partnership will address concerns surrounding air quality, tackling traffic congestion and working towards a green recovery in response to Covid-19
  • Ensuring that the area can adapt to support active modes of transport, through de-cluttering narrow pavements and improving wayfinding and accessibility
  • Creating a safe and secure environment as our workforce begin to return to work to the City and supporting the cultural offering within the area
  • To explore opportunities to create more green space and promote more outside open spaces
  • Being involved with the development pipeline and having an influence
  • Creating a brand and identity for the area bringing the identity and uniqueness of the FSQ area to the forefront
  • Increase the profile of the area through collective and powerful resource, including creating digital platforms to market and promote the offering in the area
  • Enhance the business and visitor experience in the area
  • To animate spaces and create more unique experiences as people move around the district
  • To work in partnership with the City Corporation Cultural Team, local occupiers and landlords on promotion of events and activities
  • To support our F&B sector, harnessing some of the areas hidden gems to create a more 7 day destination
  • An events programme that showcases the area and its business community
  • Championing an area that is diverse and inclusive for SME’s as well as harbouring big corporate brands that can attract and retain talent in the area
  • Working in partnership with the corporate community and deliver best practice across the footprint through a number of interventions
  • Reaffirming our commitment to equality, inclusion and diversity
  • To develop a strategy that promotes good growth and measures the impact of social value
  • To work with colleagues in the surrounding city fringe areas to promote job opportunities
  • To develop a more digitalised Fleet Street Quarter working towards a “smarter” business district
  • Developing a resilient location, future proofing the area and sustaining a competitive advantage
